JOB PURPOSE
The Field Capability Building and Training Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Trade Sales Lead by enhancing the knowledge, behaviors, skills, and culture of the field sales teams. This role is responsible for uplifting the capabilities of the Field Capability Building Team, Area Sales Managers, and Distributor Sales Teams through both online and in-person initiatives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute annual training plans in collaboration with the Field Capability Team.
- Lead and manage the Field Capability Building Team to drive performance and engagement.
- Understand and define standard execution practices for ice cream sales in general trade across various channels.
- Design and implement training programs to elevate distributor sales teams nationwide.
- Collaborate with the GT Sales Lead to create relevant learning materials that address capability gaps in Area Sales Managers and Distributor Sales Teams.
- Produce channel-specific training videos (e.g., Mom & Pop stores, Schools, Mobile Cabinets, HORECA).
- Inspire and reignite the “Red Spirit” among distributor sales teams across the country.
- Enhance distributor segmentation by refining KPI criteria and performance standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Proven background in sales and training.
- 3–5 years of experience in general trade, with a strong focus on people development.
- Excellent selling, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video creation tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide
