Job Purpose

Mergers, Acquisitions and Disposals play a crucial part of Unilever growth strategy. 20% of Unilever’s portfolio has been rotated and changed in the last five years. March 2024, Unilever announced the Ice Cream separation. Project Verdi is managing the Separation with the most likely demerger route with full separation expected by the end of 2025. The PMO separation Manager will be leading the Minburi, Thailand separation. If you like challenges and learning, this role is for you.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the physical Minburi separation between Unilever and Ice Cream in terms of costs, timing and contractual agreements between the two parties.

  • Overview Physical separation in terms of scope, costs, timing and handover.

  • Ensure collaboration across both leadership teams and manage escalation relating the separation with internal teams, project teams and legal teams.

  • Design required contract separation plan and service agreement plans for both parties.  

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts for service agreementsis according to the local legal requirements and other regulatory requirements.

  • Elaborate and execute communication plans.

  • Escalate key issues and potential risks accordingly.

  • Generate a way of working plan for both organisations, communicate and execute accordingly for the transition period.

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

  • Procurement Sourcing Strategy, supplier analysis and negotiations

  • Supply Chain and Value Chain Understanding

  • Stakeholder Management

  • 10 years business experience of which a min. should be 7 years in different Supply Chain functions.

  • Strong Analytical, Interpretation and Communication skills:  data/information analysis and presentation.

  • Proficiency in English and further languages are welcome.

  • Change management and project management experience.

  • Experience in working in a virtual team and managing stakeholders.

You will be eligible for relocation support in the form of flights (to Thailand), immigration and tax support (in the year of move) and a lump sum in cash to be paid out during the first salary payment in Thailand. No further relocation support will be provided in a self-initiated CLOC.
