The Purpose of the Science & Technology, Home care team is to provide Unilever with world class capability to develop next generation formats like powders, bars, liquids, capsule products with superior performance, great value, and sustainable technology.
Within the S&T, team is responsible for exploring upstream/novel process and product technologies. This includes the development of new analytical methodologies to create data spaces and digital models of previously unknown interactions. These technology insights are used to develop deep domain expertise that ultimately supports the product design and delivers competitive advantage.

We’re building the next generation of Home Careformatsand digital is at the heart of this transformation. This role is about making digital real, by taking on theInsilcofirstmindset byconnecting data, AI, and advanced modeling to accelerate innovation and deliver sustainable products faster.
You’llplaya major part inthe digital roadmap for FCF, stitch together tools, models, and workflows, and make sure they land in the hands of scientists and formulators. If you love solving complexproblems,cutting across multiple length and time scales, integrating cutting-edge tech, and turning ideas into scalable solutions, this is your space.
JOB SCOPE:
Lead Digital Integration:
Build connected workflows acrossUnilever data capture platformsand simulation platforms.
Ensureaseamless data architecture frameworkfor formulation design and predictive modeling.
Deploy Advanced Modeling:
Build and deployQSPR models formaterialand formulation property prediction.
Run Molecular Dynamics and/or Dissipative Particle Dynamics and/or Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations todevelop digital twins for practical systems.
Implement advanced AIand ML-basedalgorithmsfor property evaluation and generative design.
Adapt and integratestate-of-the-artcode from external repositories and research papers intoenterprise-level digital pipelines.
Implementmodular, scalable, and securedigital solutions.
Enable Teams:
Partner with Science & Tech, Global Design, SEAC, and regulatory teams to embed digital tools in real projects.
Train and coach teams on digital-first workflows.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:Master’s or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Computational Chemistry, or related field.
Experience:5+years in digital R&D, QSPR modeling, and AI-driven product development.
Hands-on with MD/DPD/CFD,neural networks, deep learning frameworks, and LLMs.
Proven ability to curate and integrate open-source code into enterprise solutions.
Skills:
Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, RDKit,GROMACS,(LAMMPS,CFD)
Strong grasp of surfactants, colloidal science, polymers, and material property modeling.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate tech into impact.
