Team Overview

The Corporate FET is a high-performing team responsible for planning, budgeting, and analysis of global overhead costs and savings. The team collaborates across regions and functions to derive actionable insights and supports performance management in partnership with the Group Performance Management team.

Role Purpose

The Corporate FET Finance Manager partners with Business Groups (BGs), 1UL, and Corporate teams to drive value through overhead performance management, budgeting, forecasting, and statistical cost processes. The role is pivotal in ensuring end-to-end governance on overheads and leveraging digital capabilities to enhance financial insights and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overheads Governance:Lead monthly governance processes to monitor and manage key operational overhead metrics.

  • Performance Reviews:Support GCC in delivering the overhead plan through lead team reviews, risk management, and decision support.

  • Global Cost Allocation:Manage allocation of global costs (Stat Cost) to markets and BGs, ensuring fairness and alignment with GPM principles.

  • Budgeting & Controlling:Own budgeting and reporting for specific geographies; roll out global capabilities in line with process models.

  • Digital Innovation:Apply AI and machine learning to extract insights, identify hotspots, and drive corrective actions.

  • Savings & Program Design:Conceptualize and implement savings initiatives and new financial programs.

  • Process Simplification:Use technology to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Experience in commercial finance roles

  • Proven ability to influence business strategy

  • Expertise in financial controlling and budgetary control

  • Demonstrated innovation and change management skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in team leadership

  • Background in CPG industry

  • Exposure to data science and complex data modelling
