JOB PURPOSE:

As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the long-term channel strategy and annual plans for the Slovak traditional trade market. You will lead key customer relationships with partners, working cross-functionally to deliver on channel and customer objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze account performance and market potential to define tailored development strategies
- Ensure listing of new products and adherence to recommended retail pricing
- Develop and implement promotional plans for each customer (e.g., flyers, special campaigns)
- Manage customer-specific and total budgets (sales and marketing)
- Collaborate with the sales force to ensure execution of agreed terms and activities in-store
- Coordinate KAM activities in Slovakia with other internal teams
- Focus on delivering sustainable profit growth by selling solutions, not just products
- Act as a key internal and external influencer, balancing short-, mid-, and long-term business goals
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Confident presenter and skilled negotiator
- Customer-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in Key account management or Sales (Preferably experience with traditional trade customers)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving & negotiation skills
- Customer Service orientation – Exceptional skills in understanding and meeting customer needs
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowePoint, Excel, etc)
- Driving license B
- General knowledge in economics, sales and marketing
- Native Czech/Slovak, Intermediate English
