We are looking for an HR Assistant to join us in Budapest, supporting the Hungarian business!

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the role is to coordinate our internal and external talent management and securing pipeline: being the owner of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle and partner with managers on a seamless hiring experience. You will be closely aligned to all functions in the business to understand their hiring needs. This role will also play part in onboarding & off boarding and administrative coordination of these processes, making sure our employees have a caring and insightful first and last day.  

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead an effective Recruitment process and make use of methods to source for great talent, e.g. social media, LinkedIn, Alumni networks, Proactive sourcing, etc.
  • End-to-end recruitment: support hiring managers in creating the advertisement from job description, in defining the selection criteria and pre-screening exercises; conduct initial candidate screenings and support the interview process; prepare and extend offers in line with company guidelines, negotiate with candidates.
  • HR Assistant and project management support in actual HR projects and initiatives.
  • Initiate and coordinate onboarding and off boarding with taking care of the administrative parts of these processes as well.
  • Organizing and admin support a specific part of this year’s learning agenda.
  • Being first point of contact to our Internship Programme participants in HR questions. Coordinating Internship Programme payroll and admin activities with working closely with external agency.
  • Proactively manage Unilever Careers social media channels and create materials for them.
  • Create monthly newsletters for our employees on maternity leave.
  • Coordinate Jubilee recognition process.
  • Active help in employer branding related event organization (e.g. university sessions).

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • Fluent in both Hungarian and English.
  • 2 years of experience in HR assistant or recruitment roles.
  • University degree (HR, Economics preferred, but we are open to different fields);
  • Hungarian labour market knowledge – you are familiar with the current trends and challenges; you can transform data into actions.
  • Confident use of Excel, Outlook, affinity to use digital solutions. Experience in using Workday is an advantage.
  • Confident communicator with a persuasive, credible and empathic personal style, strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Bias for action, ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively, great organizational skills to find balance in daily operational and project activities.
  • With strong business acumen and analytical skills, you must be able to understand the businesses talent needs and provide analytical insights.
  • The ideal candidate can start in March 2025 the latest. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity until December 31st, 2025.
