Job Purpose
To lead and manage the engineering functions related to facilities and utilities across the manufacturing site, ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable operations. This role is critical in supporting production continuity, regulatory compliance, and strategic infrastructure development aligned with business goals.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

Facilities Management
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and improvement of site infrastructure including buildings, offices, warehouses, and production support areas.
• Lead space planning, layout optimization, and facility upgrades to support manufacturing and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety, GMP, and other regulatory standards.
• Manage service contracts for janitorial, landscaping, pest control, and other facility-related services.


Utilities Engineering
• Ensure uninterrupted supply and optimal performance of utility systems: steam, compressed air, chilled water, HVAC, Power, Water, and Waste.
• Lead energy management initiatives and sustainability programs (e.g., carbon reduction, water conservation).
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for utility assets.
• Monitor utility KPIs and drive continuous improvement in reliability and efficiency.


Project Management
• Plan and execute capital projects related to facilities and utilities, including expansions, renovations, and system upgrades.
• Prepare project scopes, budgets, timelines, and manage contractors and vendors.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and operational standards.


Budgeting & Cost Control
• Develop and manage annual budgets for facilities and utilities operations.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through energy efficiency, automation, and smart technologies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Collaborate with production, EHS, quality, and supply chain teams to align engineering support with site priorities.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.


Experiences & Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE or PEE) or Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in facilities and/or utilities engineering, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, building infrastructure, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience in project management, contractor supervision, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and energy management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
