MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The People Development Specialist is responsible for the coordination and administration of the site’s culture-building and training & development programs, according to Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS) standards. S/he will be reporting to the Site HR Business Partner.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Capability
Coordinate, schedule, and track training programs for BW-PC Cavite employees at the Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care site.
Facilitate New Hire Onboarding. Coordinate testing for new hires. Develop, coordinate, and track new hire orientation for all hourly employees.
Ensure License to Operate (LTO) and Mandatory SHE-Q and BI Trainings are completed annually with full compliance for all relevant employees. Monitor training records for all employees on current system and generate reports to ensure full compliance to mandatory training programs and progress for developmental training programs.
Maintain the SOPs / manuals in Microsoft Teams and/or BuildApp. Lead the updates for the B&W-PC capability and update the self-assessments / action plans as appropriate.
Counsel teammates on training and development needs and expectations.
Leverage local educational institutions. Work with technical institutions to provide specialized technical training.
Track and report all culture and training KPIs. Maintain all culture and training files/folders and skill block file updates for all employees.
Culture
Execute the BW-PC culture strategy developed by Site HRBP. Organize culture activities, from event conceptualization, execution, up until closure. Work together with SHE, Q, and OH to ensure its success.
Track and monitor overall absenteeism rates of the site.
Provide support in other areas of employee welfare, such as shuttle/canteen management, training center & venue management, and production and distribution of employee uniforms & lockers.

Must be highly organized with careful attention to detail
Must be a responsible, supportive, and reliable individual
Must be a good team member capable of working within the highly effective team
Can adequately communicate issues relating to human resource, safety, quality, and operations
Can provide operational observations and inputs to support decision making
Demonstrates working knowledge on the use of Microsoft tools and must be capable of using other digital tools such as Power BI
Must demonstrate personal initiative
