Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Manufacturing PE Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Improvement professionals in FMCG manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will contribute to the eliminating losses and wastes and increase the stability of the line to support the transition of traditional line teams to semi-autonomous teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist Waste and Loss Elimination according to the WCM prioritization
- Assist in Creating Technical Standards to ensure process stability on the line
- Participate in the development and delivery of improvement programs and projects
- Contribute to the data collection and visualization for production teams
- Work with cross-functional teams to promote culture of Kaizen and continuous improvement
Candidate Criteria
Skill & Qualification
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Able to present findings and rationales clearly so that whole factory team can understand
- Able to make logical decisions based on data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Energetic, working under dynamic environment and good interpersonal skills
Education & Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial engineering, or a related field
- Internship or Co-operative Program with 4-6 months duration or more is preferred
- Familiar with statistical tool for process control and process improvement
- Familiar with a variety of concepts and practices of FMCG is a plus
- Previous coursework or experience in manufacturing is a plus
