Job Title: Site Engineering Manager

Working Location: Gateway Factory, Chachoengsao, Thailand

Job Purpose:

Be responsible for resource management of repair maintenance all machinery and equipment in production area, Utility plant and facility as well as support the factory digitalization pathway.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead PM strategy, prepare and execute the optimized annual Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument control for repair & maintenance budget for production and utility 

  • Ensure the minimized machine downtime (MTBF, MTTR) and the maximized machine efficiency, safety and productivity by PM strategy, recommendations as well as providing the training series to production team

  • Initiate and lead the projects on Energy Efficiency & Sustainability programs

  • Lead PM Pillar in WCM programs as well as initiate the activities related to PM pillar to build the capability of people and efficiency of machines. Integrate PM Pillar’s activities with other WCM pillars such as Safety/ Quality improvement and cost optimization program

  • Optimize the resources (budget, people, parts, etc.) to maximize the plant engineering capability by execute the planned budget, prioritize the projects and expenses, manage the engineering manpower to get the best results

  • Build the capability of engineering team and make them possess the “multi-skill”

  • Build the knowledge management culture in Engineering team using WCM tool such as LUTI (Learn-Use-Teach-Inspect).

  • Build digital factory mindset and in-house software integration using the knowledge of basic data science to identify the necessary area, data needed and tools required

  • Build data trend analysis for condition-based maintenance measurement

  • Cooperate the automated machines installation using complex knowledge and coding as well as lead the maintenance of these machines

  • Drive the factory transformation through the automation roadmap

Other Duties:

  • Adhere to the company’s employee rules & regulations.

  • Attend and contribute to all training sessions, meetings and activities as required.

  • Maintains strong, professional relationship with relevant business partners.

  • Keep the office and working areas clean and tidy at all times. (5S)

  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering in mechatronics, IE or related

Experience:

  • 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in Site engineering lead, project management in MNC or a dynamic environment.

  • Experienced in TPM, Lean Six Sigma or WCM is preferrable

Qualification:

  • Strong interpersonal skills. Able to build relationships with and influence stakeholders, including staff, internal and external partners.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai.

  • Strong project management, planning and organising skills. Able to prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.

  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.

  • Highly resourceful team-player and able to lead the team of technicians.

  • Flexible and adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/ client service and response.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Forward-looking – actively seek opportunities and propose solutions.
