Role Title: Homecare Innovations Design Lead (Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Bonifacio Stopover Corporate Center, Taguig City
Purpose of the Role
Leadership of Homecare’s Masterbrand for Surf and Breeze core renovation and innovation agenda and Big Bold Moves for the Philippines. Plays an instrumental role in leading the PH Homecare BU portfolio transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis: Develop an in-depth understanding of the local market, consumers, key trends and competitor landscape, with a strong grounding on the business environment in which the brands compete in including but not limited to category segments and channels.
- Innovation Strategy: Create a strong brand strategy, including identification of gaps and growth opportunities within the market, clear brand differentiation, well-crafted portfolio and mix, giving the brand both short- and long-term wins. Key output metric for this is the development of the Innovation Strategy, with clear guardrails for the next 12 quarters with key levers of growth and brand superiority.
- Innovation Pipeline Management: Scope and deliver a future fit portfolio in identified white spaces, price pack architecture opportunities and net revenue management opportunities. Landing impactful renovation and innovation projects that support the short-term and long-term growth with a sustained healthy portfolio. Assess portfolio performance regularly and make recommendations for portfolio optimization and rationalization as needed.
- Risk Management and Mitigation: Understand key success factors and obstacles for new product launches/campaigns and –where necessary- fine tune the mix and the strategy accordingly. This includes assessing and mitigating risks of innovations with a clear contingency plan if needed.
- Brand Marketing Campaigns: Craft a robust communication strategy for brand campaigns with winning communications for both brands that directly impact the brand power.
- Financial Management: Manage PNL with clear financial guardrails for innovations and renovations that have a clear impact on the financial growth model.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years experience in Brand Management or Customer Business Development
- Business or Category Planning
- Consumer and Customer Understanding
- Project Management and Problem Solving
- Good with Numbers (Sales Analytics, Business Cases, etc.)
- Communication & Presentation Skills
- Leading Teams and Managing Stakeholders
- Positive, assertive yet empathetic leadership, with strong ‘soft skills’ to enable delivery through high degrees of collaboration and partnership, especially among our countries; agencies and multifunctional teams
- Extremely high commitment to work with many and different projects, learn fast and deliver quickly.
- Experience with working in regional or global teams
- Fluent in the English language
- Amenable for a contract-based role for 6 months
