Role Title: Shopper Growth Optimization Executive

Function: Customer Development (Sales)

Location: Philippines

JOB PURPOSE:

The aim of the role of Shopper Growth Optimization Executive is to use data as an enabler & catalyst for increased growth and improved business performance across different channels or programs encompassing the omni-channel space and Digital Commerce, to drive sales growth through influencing more Shoppers, More Frequency, and Bigger Basket Sizes per purchase.

The role serves to create data approaches to analyze data, draw findings and insights, and use the analysis to recommend actions to grow the business and improve business performance anchored on accelerating sales for the business. The role also optimizes performance of the campaigns and activities being implemented, using and analyzing the data and results to recommend ways to further optimize and improve performance over time and across more implementation cycles.

Data solutions to be used can range from dashboards & other analysis that will aid in analyzing the data to identify opportunities, jobs to be done, and actions for growth, to more advanced prescriptive selling data and remarketing automation solutions that prescribe actions for growth to users based on the data findings, and also including prescriptive selling solutions that aim to build Customer Lifetime Value such as digital 121 marketing solutions (ex. Webengage, other segmentation or personalization solutions).

The key focus of the role is to analyze the data, and recommend actions for growth, and “not the technical development” and “run maintenance” of these data solutions.

Rather, the role aims to collaborate with relevant partners to build, maintain, and sustain these data solutions that will be used to analyze and recommend actions for growth for the business.

This will involve handling many forms of data not just sales data, including digital performance data, across multiple type of consumers, market, channels & Customers (Supermarkets, Health, Beauty, others) or growth spaces (Digital commerce, others), maximizing Point of Sale or Retailer Data, and other retailer and shopper data sets to identify insights, opportunities, and actions for growth.

The role will also be key in progressing and landing the BU & CBD Data strategy that aims to build Unmissable Brand Superiority plans, Customer Lifetime Value to grow the business, linked to the Customer Economic Model of driving more shoppers, more visits, and bigger baskets.

Skills Sets and Orientation

  • Passion for answering questions with data, and linking output to growth insights and  recommendations for actions for growth
  • Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders to understand business questions/ requirements
  • Ability to manipulate and analyse complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying source
  • Fully operational in the use of an analysis tool such as Microsoft PowerBI, and other Data Solutions
  • Experience working with large data sets, experience working with distributed computing tools (Azure) is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Business Related, Information Technology, Data Science, Industrial Engineering 
  • Excellent Project Management skills and engagement skills
  • Experience in Data Management, Reporting and automation
  • Must be highly proficient in MS Excel and Power BI (optional but preferred)
  • With strong data management, data analysis and data visualization capabilities
  • Willing to be assigned in BGC on a hybrid working set-up and do field work from time to time
