PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role drives the adoption and effective use of global and regional data products in Mexico, ensuring they deliver measurable impact. It supports reporting automation, performance tracking, and analytics to enable smarter decisions for the Foods business. Acting as a bridge between global solutions and local needs, it ensures digital and data tools are successfully implemented, used, and continuously improved.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
1. Product Adoption & Implementation
- Lead the deployment, adoption, and change management of global and regional data products within the Mexican market.
- Act as product ambassador for key global tools, ensuring engagement, training, and continuous improvement.
- Drive usability and performance tracking of existing solutions, including:
- NRM Tool: Supports Net Revenue Management strategies across levers (price, promo, mix, etc.).
- UPOSE Tool: Supports elasticity modeling and price-volume analytics.
- Ensure consistent alignment with regional (Foods LATAM) and global teams, facilitating feedback loops and local adaptation.
2. Reporting Automation & Performance Measurement
- Design and build automated reports and dashboards to monitor the performance of the Foods business in Mexico.
- Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics that enable decision-making at different time frames (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Identify opportunities to simplify or digitize manual reporting processes using modern data tools and automation frameworks.
3. Advanced Analytics (Ad Hoc Analysis)
- Perform deep-dive analytical projects to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities across categories, channels, and customers.
- Apply data science techniques (e.g., clustering, elasticity modeling, forecasting) when needed.
- Translate findings into actionable business recommendations that drive measurable impact.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THE POSITION?
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Solid understanding of KPI definition, measurement frameworks, and dashboard design.
- Strong knowledge of business processes and commercial analytics (Sales, Trade, NRM, Category, Finance).
Hardskills:
- Advance English
- Experience in data transformation and analytics environments: Azure, Databricks, SQL, Power BI, Excel advanced.
- Experience in automation of data flows and reporting pipelines.
- Strong abilities in Python or SQL
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management – able to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Strong change management mindset and ability to drive engagement across diverse teams.
- Analytical thinking with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Collaborative, curious, and passionate about creating value through data.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization, managing priorities between local, regional, and global stakeholders.
