JOB PURPOSE

This role will operationally drive and lead the implementation of innovation & non-innovation projects for PC business. Lead R&D activities for packaging and could also lead other activities related to whole R&D product development. Therefore, flexibility and versatility are also requirements in the position.

The position is based in Mexico with a regional scope and will support and lead projects mainlyfor Mexico.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Preparation

  • Drive packaging actions to deliver OTIF innovation portfolio, margin improvement and simplification projects.

  • Project Networking and follow up with Global & Regional Team

  • Direct contact with Supply Chain for a properproject deployment.

  • Coordinate and support tests in the factory, includes pack trials.

  • Manage primary and secondary packaging specifications, pallet pattern and any packaging tests.

  • Perform and evaluate stability and compatibility tests.

  • Run Packaging materials validation tests (i.e.Moulds components, labels, etc)

  • Run full product distribution tests (i.e. Transit test, Drop test, etc)

  • Specification creation for Packaging.

  • Artwork Approval 

Experiences & Qualifications

  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in engineering pref. Chemical or Industrial.

  • ​Proven experience in similar position or in packaging or formula development

  • Minimum 1 year in mass consumer good manufacturing company (or similar) in related positions as R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Planning.​
