We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Ben & Jerry’s, Breyers, Magnum, Talenti, Popsicle, Good Humor, Klondike, and Yasso. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

Job Purpose:

  • Manage and coordinate ASM resources to maximize effectiveness of assigned market objectives through Account Executives, Marketing, Retail Group, Administrators, and Broker senior management. Delegate work to ASMs, BDMs, CDMs, and Administrators where appropriate.
  • Achieve annual targets, including volume, spend, profitability, and applicable KPI’s. Engage in joint business planning with the BDMs to develop a winning customer engagement.
  • Identify opportunities and risks within the market in support of channel and corporate business objectives. Drive trade investment efficiencies while ensuring corporate goals are delivered, broker investment is maximized, and customer strategies are met. Communicate opportunities, risks, and recommendations to the cross functional team.
  • Manage and coordinate Unilever resources to maximize effectiveness on assigned market performance to include Trade Marketing, Category Management, Consumer Insight, Supply Chain and Shopper Marketing.
  • Craft and deliver winning sales stories to our retailers in support of achieving KPI’s.
  • Strong understanding of our story, mission, products, and our point of difference is highly recommended. Education of the broker partners and retailers will be required to drive sales and create advocates for our brands. Guide ASM Partners on delivering spend optimization (ROI), strategies to managing spend within a Region, and promo planning (Evergreen) reconciliation as well as ensure all resources are available to the ASM Partners 
  • Develop strategic relationships with key accounts and broker partners to accelerate growth, while operating within approved Trade Marketing parameters, and driving trade investment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Routinely interface and work effectively with multiple internal departments/personnel, plus senior level colleagues, and customer counterparts. 

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 3-5 years Customer Management/Broker Management experience. Experience managing 3rd parties, Retail Store operations, HQ. Sales Experience, and Team Leadership Skills
  • Understanding of the Wholesale Network and experience with managing wholesalers
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills
  • Must be able to manage through 3rd parties and delegate responsibly
  • Business Planning and Implementation
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Be able to communicate throughout Unilever and ASM organization
  • Contribution to Company Strategy & Innovation
  • Consumer / Shopper Understanding

Pay: The pay range for this position is  $96,000 to $143,900. . Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
