Technology Platform Lead
This role is responsible for leading and managing the technology platforms across the Wellbeing Collective, with a primary focus on D365, Kinaxis, and other core supply chain and finance (backbone) technologies. The Tech Platform Owner will work closely with functional process owners to translate business requirements into solutions within these platforms. They will partner with business functions, technical teams, and external partners to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement. They will own the strategic product roadmap, ensuring the greatest business value and adoption. A successful candidate is a committed technology expert, great at working within teams to deliver complex projects and ensure system stability. The tech platform owner is a senior member of the Wellbeing Collective tech team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead, implement, and own the technology platform strategy for the Wellbeing Collective, focusing on D365, Kinaxis, and other core supply chain and finance technologies.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into solutions within these platforms.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to assist stakeholders as needed throughout the project and during change management.
• Partner with product owners in various business units to ensure governance in a single instance, identifying synergies and resolving conflicts.
• Drive new product features and functionality as part of continual optimization of the technology landscape.
• Act as a core part of the project team, using experience to ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet business needs and drive business value.
• Manage third-party support relationships and ensure SLAs are met.
• Communicate progress to key stakeholders, run the steerco and report on project status.
• Lead business case build, benefit tracking and budget management.
• Collaborate with functional process owners to understand and address their system needs.
KEY SKILLS
• A strong Tech business partner with strong business acumen and an ability to apply strategic thinking and business goals to project deliverables and user experience.
• Strong project management skills are required including scoping, auditing, proof of concept, MVP, test and trial.
• 7-10 years experience leading business systems within a dynamic & rapidly growing organization, CPG/Manufacturing/Wholesale/Retail preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (specializing in SC/Ops and finance).
• Experience with stakeholder management and the ability to schedule and manage multiple projects, including working with outside vendors where required.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of change management and best practice.
• Ability to develop strong relationships. An outstanding communicator and influencer, capable of working effectively with counterparts, of all work levels, across the world.
• Ability to work across several time zones. (India, UK, Brazil, NY, LA, etc)
• Ability to think outside of ‘big Unilever’, complex solutions and bureaucracy and to deliver to the needs of a smaller, faster growing and agile business, who have many differences than Unilever and as such
require a different approach. Ideally M&A experience.
• Problem solving and the ability to get things done in a scrappy way, without looking for perfection.
• The candidate would have a clear view of the needs of the operating companies and strong desire to deliver to these, but also be prepared to challenge the business in the best interested of the collective or to a longer term time frame than the operating company can think.
• Strong organizational skills, able to act independently and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience working in Global initiatives and with UniOps. Ability to influence UniOps to ensure they prioritise the differing needs of Wellbeing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple agencies or organisations to reach goals.
• Self-starter, independent but great working in teams. Seeking out the right people from their network to be successful.
• Experience working with the United States.
• Important to have interests and passions outside of work, which will ensure a healthy lifestyle and good balance.
• Ability to develop strong relationships and communicate effectively with counterparts at all work levels across the world.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $135,600 to $203,300. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible. Benefits: Unilever employees are eligible to participate in our benefits plan.
