Brand Manager Knorr (d/f/m)

JOB PURPOSE

In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of the local strategy for Knorr Bouillons & Seasonings, working closely with central and local teams. You will lead and coach your direct report, manage performance, and translate strategy into actionable plans. Additionally, you will independently plan and execute innovation projects, leveraging consumer insights and market analysis to drive growth and brand activation.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Strategic business and brand development E2E for Knorr Bouillons & Seasonings: Responsible for the definition and implementation of the local Bouillon & Seasonings strategy

  • Leading and developing of your direct report. You will manage and coach the Brand Assistant in your team in tasks such as gatekeeping processes, business cases, and project management.

  • Performance management including S&OP and development of corrective measures for your categories/brands

  • Translation of strategy into action: you are responsible for all Brand Development Activities linking back to the foods strategy and based on local consumer insights.

  • Plan, lead, and deploy independently Innovation and Restore Value Projects from ideation to deployment across all 6Ps with strong activation and integrated communication.

  • Category expert in terms of consumers insights, trends, society changes, new business models, competitor moves as a base for innovations, renovations, brand and product activation, and communication.

  • You perform market and competition analysis as well as independent identification of market development potential and definition of growth opportunities


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or technical college

  • Several years of professional experience in FMCG and marketing, ideally in the food sector.

  • Independent worker with a high degree of personal responsibility

  • Marketing knowledge required in the following areas: market and brand understanding, brand development and innovation process, consumer/shopper understanding, brand activation, concept and design development as well as a good business and financial acumen

  • People management, coaching, ability to work in a team, flexibility, strong communication skills, organizational skills, resilience, assertiveness, self-confidence and a confident appearance

  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of comprehension of complex cases

  • Structured, solution-oriented, and efficient way of working

  • Fluency in English and ideally German

  • Digital affinity and experience in the field of digital or e-commerce are appreciated

  • Expertise in European, virtual, and cross-functional interface management

  • Passion for food
