JOB PURPOSE

The Site Operations Planner role exists to devise a production plan and manage the execution of the plan in order to support business needs. A Site Operations Planner acts as a liaison between Supply Planning and Manufacturing. It is the responsibility of the Planner to understand the business and to build a responsive network that can react to the volatility of the market while also managing inventory levels, non-finished good material availability, and waste implications. As part of the Supply Planning Team, you will need to drive initiatives to meet team goals and ensure the continuous improvement of processes and outcome. Optimize the delivery of service, inventory and production planning. Frequent and effective interaction with supply planning, factories, suppliers, procurement and logistics teams is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and communicate weekly production schedules based on supply plans and run strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage material changes and ensure alignment across production, logistics, quality, and planning teams.
  • Lead NFG Betaine feedstock planning and coordinate with bulk planners to maintain inventory targets and avoid disruptions.
  • Optimize material planning using SAP and Unilever systems to drive automation and efficiency.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships, resolving material issues and driving performance improvements.
  • Monitor and improve Output Reliability (OR) through data analysis, action planning, and tradeoff evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance and utilization of planning systems, including MRP and PO tracking with the cMRP team.
  • Lead seamless material transitions with zero waste and align run rates with factory capabilities.
  • Analyze production data to adjust future schedules and support strategic initiatives and VIP projects.
  • Manage innovation activities, master data setup, BOM generation, scrap factors, and material write-off submissions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in operational planning and customer service.
  • Strong skills in quantification and data analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering complex information effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving mindset with a multi-perspective approach.
  • Knowledge of SAP planning systems (APO and O2C).
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts clearly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Kinaxis RapidResponse planning tool.
  • Supply Chain planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS certification.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $69,360 to $104,040. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
