JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, while optimizing systems and processes for efficiency and continuous improvement. It involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver actionable insights on financial performance and support business decisions.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Ownership for timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance, in accordance with IFRS and group reporting guidelines.

  • Oversight of financial accounting and reporting systems.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including auditors.

  • Evaluate and analyse financial and non-financial key performance indicators and provide inputs / insights in this respect.

  • Advise on technical accounting guidance and implementation of any new guidelines and standards.

  • Liaise with stakeholders across different departments and with regional and global teams.

  • Drive simplification and automation of systems and procedures for continuous improvement.

  • Provide timely assistance and support for a variety of ad hoc initiatives /analysis.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experiences in related areas

  • Financial accounting and reporting

  • Auditing

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management

  • Strong sense of accountability and responsibility 

  • Ability to cope with time pressure and challenges
