JOB PURPOSE

Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world.  This role is to drive end to end supply chain demand planning, by defining/owning both short and long term demand planning strategy, institutionalizing best practice and supporting tools. 

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Responsible for forecasting demand for PC category.
  • Analyzing data pertaining to market trends, fluctuation in sales and end stock adjustment to forecast for the future.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to incorporate business insights into the demand planning process.
  • Use statistical models and forecasting tools to predict future demand.
  • Maintain good accuracy and bias to ensure optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing costs.
  • Planning and tracking calendar for trade activities and consumer promotions.
  • Develop and refine demand planning processes and tools for better efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on market conditions, customer behaviour and industry trends that impact demand.
  • Forecasting for changes in SKU prices, grammages, and other business and financial decisions.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales team to predict demand of new product launches or promotions.
  • Monthly circulation of Demand Plan to all relevant stakeholders – Supply Chain, Trade, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Calculating and tracking Forecast Accuracy and Forecast Biases of all SKUs, portfolios, and category.
  • Sharing and maintaining FA-FB tracker week on week, and identifying losses in the forecast accuracy and biases.
  • Leading S&OP forums and presenting to the relevant stakeholders every cycle.
  • Responsible to ensure accurate forecast in Kinaxis.
  • Maintaining transitions in case of code changes in Kinaxis timely.
  • Ensuring all system hygiene and tracking is followed.
  • Tracking and incorporating the SFOS system for better forecasting of PC SKUs
  • Comparing and analyzing SFOS trends to human forecasting trends; comparing FA-FB of both and ensuring good adoption rates.
  • Coordinating closely with the SFOS team to provide feedback and gain insight on the system to help improve SFOS-driven Forecast Accuracy and Bias

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Business Management
  • 3+ years in Demand planning  Proven track record of analytical thinking 

Skills

  • Computer literacy; software application and simulation models  
  • Intermediate / Advance Excel 
  • Analytical skills  
  • Strong communication & interpersonal Skills
