JOB PURPOSE
Unilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world. This role manages the Master Production Schedule & Material Requirement Planning for the Home Care Category to achieve the required Service Levels, with optimum level of stocks and business waste.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Develop and execute supply plans to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand while avoiding stockouts and minimizing excess inventory.
Collaborate with demand planning and sales teams to understand customer demand forecasts and align supply plans accordingly.
Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance supply and demand, optimizing inventory turns and minimizing cash.
Issuing production schedules based on demand forecasts, production capacity, and lead times to ensure timely product availability.
Work with procurement teams to ensure the timely sourcing of raw materials, packaging materials needed for production.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers to manage lead times, address potential shortages, and ensure timely deliveries.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply planning, such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and production efficiency.
Identify and manage potential supply chain risks, such as supplier disruptions or production delays, and develop mitigation strategies.
Identify and manage business waste and ensure waste mitigation plans to achieve zero waste with optimized service and inventory levels.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
Bachelors/Masters Degree in Business or Engineering
3+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing
Skills
Proven capability in inventory management
Ability to effectively manage production scheduling
Skilled at material resource planning
Able to execute effective capacity planning
Skilled in SAP and Microsoft Excel
Able to resolve conflicts effectively
Ability to work with cross functional teams
Excellent at communication
Ability to negotiate in complex circumstances
