It is Unilever’s in-house centre of business partnering and operational excellence in the area of finance services, supply chain, customs, procurement, integrated planning and performance delivery. There are 300 people in Katowice Hub.
The modern Katowice Hub office, whose interiors were designed according to the principles of sustainable development, is located in the city centre of Katowice, Poland.
We are working in the hybrid way to use the time spent in the office to influence collaboration and straighten the team spirit, using special designed for this purpose office areas.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Logistics Product is core within the Customer Operations Product Domain and sits within the overall Global Digital & Technology (GDT) Organization.
This role of Logistics Product Manager will have a specific focus on all digital products encompassing Logistics, one of the most strategic pillars of Customer Operations. This role will work together with CO Excellence, CO Markets and Europe Hub teams defining continuous improvements and new requirement capabilities across Process, Technology and Data. This role will be key to driving digital transformation in Logistics as part of the product model.
This means you will need to have strong Supply Chain business context, manage senior relationships with the functional stakeholder(s)and bring an internal/external IT, Process and Data & Analytics view to the table for product strategy and delivery. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Develop a deep understanding of the Unilever supply chain vision and evolving business requirements. Work together with CO and Hub leaders and translate those needs into Logistics programs.
Engage with the Europe Hub to understand strategy and operational challenges to co-create a digital agenda, improve efficiency though continuous improvements, new products and AI.
Work across various internal Product teams to ensure OTIF delivery and integrated solutions, as well as ensuring risks and controls as part of the solutions.
Work with a ‘Glocal’ (Global + Local) mindset – while addressing local requirements from market, also help in driving solution convergence within the Function, from Local to Regional to Global.
Understand and interpret IT strategic architecture, helping ensure all projects and application support follow the principles, guidelines, and standards.
Co-Lead the assessment, selection, and implementation of new technology applications to support logistics business processes and objectives.
Stay ahead of emerging technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree in engineering / science or similar degree along with 4 to 6 years of IT experience, including implementation of Logistics products Management.
Broad understanding of Supply Chain with a depth of knowledge in Logistics area (including Warehousing & Transportation)
Broad knowledge and experience with ERP systems. Working knowledge of transportation technical ecosystem including OTM, WMS, SAP, etc.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams including external product teams
Creative problem-solving mindset with a bias for practical solutions. A quick learner and be proactive to get things done
Knowledge of project lifecycle and it’s different methodologies
Knowledge and understanding of driving change management with end users
Technical Acumen – familiarity with digital technologies and technology trends.
