Main Responsibilities:

· The role business partners the Homecare, Nutrition, and Country team in Malaysia and Singapore

· You will be responsible for the identification and translation of consumer, customer, market and channel needs & desires, multi-source insights and behaviours to guide the brand crafting strategy, innovation and portfolio, digital marketing and commerce, channel & shopper insights as well as drive performance and insights to drive growth.

· Understand Category and Cross-Category Dynamics: Deeply understand Homecare, Foods, and FMCG business, brands, customers, channels key objectives, and challenges.

· Collaborate across functions and implement the insights in line with best practices and ensure that all research work is actionable and strategically aligned; this includes all practical aspects of Insights end to end.

· Foresights: Provide intelligence to shape and future proof our businesses by identifying any emerging trends, forecast, and by Identifying broader common themes and Insights on consumer & customer pain points or aspirations (needs & wants) across categories and local regions.

· Bringing Outside in: Continiously gather and integrate the voice of the consumer along with the news from the market and competitors to ensure competitive intelligence is also core part of our strategy

· Lead country’s social listening - analyse data across websites and social platforms (social, search, reviews) to understand consumer insights

· Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including research agencies, ensuring quality of output, adherence to timelines, and budget management.

Critical success Factors for the Job


Key Skills Relevant Experience

· Understands research fundamentals (Traditional and Digital Method).

· Experience in turn big data into actionable business insights.

· Implements Unilever best practise.

· Fluently communicate and deliver business presentations in English and Malay (with Chinese as a plus)

· University degree or equivalent · 4+ years at Market Research experience · Experience with Nielsen Retail Audit/ Kantar Panel.

· Familiarity with managing tools such as Brand watch, Mintel, Unmetric will be an advantage
