Job Title: Data Analyst

Duration: 12 months contract
Location: Malaysia

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and communicate reports, including data visualization and dashboards, for management and key stakeholders.  

  • Prepare time-sensitive deliverables on a regular and on-demand basis by working closely with sales and marketing stakeholders.

  • Identify and implement automation, data improvements and consolidation opportunities to continually streamline and standardize key reports.

  • Satisfy reporting requirements based on local and regional needs.

  • Coordinate and work with team leads to ensure key metrics are adhered.

  • Contribute to the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls, and training for the function.

  • Implement various KPIs to enhance data quality and construct dashboards using BI reporting tools.

  • Enhance data quality and reliability to improve user experience.

  • Direct communication with stakeholders to resolve daily data issues.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 years working experience as a Reporting Analyst/ Data Analyst/ or any position that related to data and business analytics with strong statistical background.

  • Advanced experience with Power BI, Advanced Excel, Power Automate is preferred.

  • Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, DAX) is preferred.

  • Organization – creating and keeping easy to read files, allowing easy transition of projects and review of underlying data / calculation.

  • Technical Comprehension – learn/understand data and formulas that are used to determine performance metrics.

  • Detail oriented – strong desire for data accuracy and timeliness is critical.

  • Critical thinking – Using logic and reasoning to identify conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Excellent and Clear Communication (English) – Ability to influence others and navigating through a matrix organization.
