Who You Are and What You’ll Do
We are looking for a Demand Creation Specialist (Technical Chef) who has entrepreneur mindset and able to spot on the business opportunity which are generally within a defined geography, to create and sustain demand to maximize business growth.
Our ideal candidate shall combine both Chefmanship knowledge and strong customer engagement skills with solid selling essentials skills, a passion for food and a well-developed sense of purpose. Through this, he/she will be able to contribute to our overall growth, bring efficiency and future proof the business.

Indirect reports: Region’s Distributor Account Manager
Your Role/Key Responsibilities:
Key Deliverables
Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations, inspire customers and internal teams with creative applications of Unilever Food Solutions' products.
Execute Chefmanship training program, developing product knowledge and application skills across stakeholders (Customer Development Team, Sales Representative and Merchandisers)
Collaborate with chefs and foodservice operators to develop and optimize menus that showcase Unilever Food Solutions' products. Ensure that menus are profitable, on-trend, and deliver exceptional taste experiences.
Works closely with Distributor Account Manager by contributing Chefs’ expertise & knowledge, include Operator insights and Diner’s trend.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, chefs, and foodservice operators. Provide culinary expertise and support to drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and business growth.
Increase offline and online visibility of the Unilever Food Solutions and chef team brand within the industry and among our target customers via different touch point.
Grow tandemly with region’s assigned area on the business target, include SKU portfolio performance and penetration.
Key Stakeholders:
Internal: Chef Team, Region Customer Development teams, Country Channel Marketing team, other support functions e.g., R&D, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance.
External: Distributors, Sales Representative, Merchandisers, Operators (Purchasing, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality Assurance).
Travel:
50-70% of the time for travelling.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a chef.
Proficiency in standard computer skills, including MS programs and familiarity with social media platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in group settings and one-on-one interactions.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and effectively manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Must possess strong organizational, systematic, and collaborative skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with all employees, co-workers, and customers.
Willingness to travel as required.
