Job Title: MDM & Digital Transformation Assistant Manager (Contract)

Location: Malaysia

The Purpose of Role

  • Leads and deploys global capability programs in the Supply Chain area for digitalization (e.g. RTVA, Power BI, process simplification).

  • Provides insights on efficiency, and deep-dive analysis of specific categories to propose improvement areas by benchmarking externally.

  • Monitoring and continuous implement improvement in Master Data Management (MDM) operations with MDM Hub.

  • Leading in projects (e.g. MDM improvement, Finance transition project (e-invoice), new warehouse setup).

Your Role/Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and run the Excellence projects (focus on inventory, business and FAFB improvement) that is identified as high impact, such as but not limited to standardization.

  • Facilitate the exchange of best practices regionally.

  • Work closely with the MDM team on daily operations issues, master data hygiene and performance tracker.

  • Helping Assist in facilitating key user testing in the system.

  • Day-to-day operation (e.g. Preparing memo for write-off, monthly provision submission to finance, facilitating governance call and etc).Run and submit monthly cash up to finance by working with Demand Planners on validation before submission.

  • Follow up with the Planning team on monthly KPIs forecast submission (e.g., Inventory, Business Waste and Co-packing cost).

  • Lead and continuously find opportunities in transformation and digitalization in Supply Chain reporting learning from other countries/adopting the global report.

  • Identify and execute suitable local training programmes to enhance the skills, competencies and capabilities of IP MYSG.

Travel:

The role is based in Malaysia, no travel is required.

Essential Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

  • 4-6 years of business experience in supply chain planning, preferably within the FMCG industry.

  • You are equipped with strong knowledge of Master Data Management.

  • You are excellent in digitalization reporting.

  • You are skilled in SAP, Kinaxis, Excel, Aera, and SQL.

Desirable Experience/Skill/Knowledge:

  • You demonstrated Project Management skills.

  • You demonstrated a proven process improvement experience.
