JOB CONTEXT & PURPOSE
Fragrance is astrategic priority for the Home Care business group.This role is part ofthe HC Fragrance Marketing Team which sits alongside the global brand teamsin the HC global marketingorganisation.We are revolutionising our approach to fragrance end-to-end: from fragrance briefing, to fragrance design, to communication, and it’s a journey which has just begun.
We are looking for a marketer who is passionate about the fragrance world, connected to consumer and fragrance trends and is knowledgeable in working with Fragrance Houses and R&D teams. This role offers significant professional development with a strong internaland external focus and interaction with senior leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Home CareGlobal Fragrance Upskilling and Inspiration agenda for our marketeers around the world, including the Fragrance Academy and guest-speaker series.
Lead ‘Power of Fragrance’ program with retailers – an exciting initiative to showcase Unilever as a fragrance power-house with our customers.
Lead the internal fragrance communication plan, igniting excitement, knowledge and top-of-mind for the Fragrance Transformation program.
Lead and own the marketing Fragrance Briefing Process, guiding marketeers around the world to be both sharp and inspiring with all their fragrance requests.
Support in the articulation of Brand Fragrances strategy for all of HC Power Brands.
Support in strategic initiatives building fragrance excellence across the end to end marketing journey.
ALL ABOUT YOU
Experience & Skills
3+ year experience ideally in marketing, but open to R&D and Fragrance Profiles with passion for brands and design.
Good understanding of FMCG innovation and communication processes.
Impeccable communication skills and fluency is speaking to functional experts (brand teams, R&D, agencies)
‘Monica Geller level’ of organisational skills – able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with clarity and rigour.
Creative sensitivity (i.e. eye for design and aesthetics) and connection to cultural trends.
Can-do attitude, resilience and joy for work.

Location
In 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars ("100VE"), Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond, the build is due to be complete in early 2025. Most recently, in August 2024, we announced our intention to retain our premises in 100VE until our lease expires in 2027.
We are due to consult with our existing workforce on the new proposal to retain 100VE for the duration of our lease. Therefore, until such a time consultation has concluded as to the retention of our 100VE office, this role will be based in 100 Victoria Embankment until early 2025 and then will move to the Kingston Campus.

Recruitment Fraud
Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
