jOB PURPOSE
The Market Quality Operation (MQO) Lead focuses on Quality in the market operations, implementing, executing, improving, ensuring and providing technical quality support to assembling operations, repacking operations, customers, Brand Building and local Brand Development (for promotions, INCs, local jewels) for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, Cold Chain compliance, regulatory compliance, care line support, on-shelf assessments and incident management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Deploy UL Quality Strategythrough specific projects and targets.
Support Quality linksto MCO and SC GTM Strategy.
Communicate regulatory requirementsand ensure compliance at manufacturing sites and logistics.
Lead/participate in Quality interventionslike reviews, workshops, and training.
Resolve Quality issuesin re-packers, assemblers, and suppliers.
Support Quality processesfor innovations and promotional items.
Ensure on-shelf auditsfor new innovations and promotions.
Verify compliancewith UL Quality Standards in third-party operations.
Resolve procurement issuesand assess supplier capabilities.
Conduct marketplace product assessmentsand activate improvement projects.
Define PQS for Secondary Packagingbased on customer needs.
Interface with Consumer/Customer care linesfor feedback and alerts.
Prepare Quality documentsfor cross-border imports and monitor ongoing quality.
Develop Quality improvement activitiesbased on marketplace data.
Support cold chain qualityfrom distribution centers to points of sale.
Lead Quality improvement projectsfor business complaints and on-shelf PQS.
Manage quality issueswith customers and channels.
Provide Quality requirementsfor product returns and disposition approval.
Prepare reports on quality issuesand ensure improvement plans.
Monitor and analyze product quality datato initiate improvement activities.
Ensure compliance of UL Quality Management Systemin warehouses and distribution centers.
Conduct technical capability assessmentsfor third-party providers.
Lead Pallet Quality Improvement initiativesusing KPI data and trends.
Support local product quality incident managementand reporting.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering/ Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain Quality / Quality logistic / Quality engineering
Experience in Warehouse and Logistics
Digital Skill
Additional experience in SC or RD
