Retail Trade Solutions Executive
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF ROLE
The core of this position is involved in the end-to-end process from visibility principles-setting to operationalizing channel-led below-the-line campaigns and execution. Plays a critical role in driving the success of visibility initiatives and executing impactful activations to engage shoppers and drive sales. The role highly involves heavy collaboration with internal cross-functional teams, graphic agencies, and suppliers.
This role is critical especially for a highly competitive and trendy category such as Ice Cream.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As such, scope of this position includes:
Comprehensive end to end visibility and activation
- End-to-end total project management for the channel from planning, design creation, production of POSMs, deployment to stores, and documentation (monitoring).
- Close liaison with suppliers and third party agencies for costings, procurement, and production of merch materials to ensure seamless execution in trade channel. Monitor existing below-the-line campaigns across all regions, including deployment of merch for vetted doors
Process Optimization; and Visibility and Activations Metrics
- Heavy involvement in the continuous process improvement of design approvals, vetting, and tracking metrics. The objective is to optimize the process to maximize impact, efficiency, minimize costs, and improve overall performance.
- Implement solutions to improve operational performance. This can be in a form of pilot initiatives.
- Evaluate and assess post-launch of any below-the-line activations. Pilot A/B testing for any POSM per channel
Innovative POSMs
- This entails the development of innovative concepts and strategies to enhance POSMs. Collaborating with agencies and suppliers to create merchandise that aligns with shopper preferences. This may include technology for immersive in-store experience such as interactive POSMs, or incorporating sustainable materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in channel activations and merchandising
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Willing to be based in Mangahan, Pasig City and do field work from time to time
- Organized and effective project management skills is a must
- Extensive knowledge of graphics media, with superior artistic and design skills
- Proficient in image editing and digital animation and illustration software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Well versed in communicating
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment
- Very collaborative and can manage several diverse internal and external stakeholders
