Main Job Purpose:
India cluster has a 13% (€55m) share in global spends for the portfolio. Portfolio has high material
complexity especially in Decorations with a total of 4000+ AW`s.
Assistant manager role will be responsible for the implementation of sourcing strategy for the portfolio,
managing supplier partnerships for getting value and growth, working out the resilience program for the
portfolio for India. This role will create supplier network that aligns with the
overall business objectives for Divisions and Markets and in line with the overall Sourcing Strategy.
Role would require the candidate to be well versed with use of cost model and its analysis. Use of digital
tools and reports to enhance negotiations, opportunity identification. Lead and land portfolio savings.
Develop and grow supplier network to enable access to world class packaging options. Engage closely
with internal stakeholder to deliver business needs through strong network of suppliers.
The role may also be responsible for price forecasting, best in class contracting and negotiations, benchmarking,
supplier scanning and support driving quality and service in the cluster. One of focus areas for the role will
be driving the sustainability agenda for Tubes in India jointly with R&D & Brand.
Sustainability is in the heart of this role through get alternate options for the current tube structures. The
role will involve driving sustainability agenda with clear cost glidepaths, delivering purpose with business
priorities.

• Delivery of sourcing strategy, implementation through contracting and negotiations
• Delivery of Financial KPI’s: NMI, cash
• Sustainability targets, RPP targets
• Resilience program implementation
• Complexity reduction and ZBB program delivery
• Continuous process improvement, financial forecasting
• Effective supplier communications and engagement in key programs
• New supplier scanning
• Support PMU’s in Operations and Sustainability
• Material price Forecasting
• Managing inventory for the portfolio
• Digitization of cost models

Professional Skills:
• Negotiation & communications skills
• Digital and analytics knowledge
• Financial acumen for business cases and reporting
• Experience with cost models
• Packaging technologies and innovations
• Experience in procurement transformation projects, tools and technologies.
• Stakeholder management

Experience Required:
ESSENTIAL
• University degree at least 5 years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or R&D
• Good buying, negotiations, and contracting skills
• Strategic sourcing
• Supply market and FMCG knowledge
• Experience on project management roles
• Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities.

Travel:
• As per job/site requirements.
