JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Lead and guide teams for design elements (GMP, core design & product standards compliance) in Capacity and Innovation projects from BG (Business Groups), Beauty & Wellbeing & Personal Care, process and product technology standpoint across EWA (East & West Africa) cluster
  • Develop concept & detailed design for BG (Beauty & Wellbeing & Personal Care) specific projects
  • Support execution, commissioning & handover of key projects
  • Responsible for value-engineering and capital efficiency in projects designs
  • Responsible for LCC, right-sizing, asset-sweating, debottlenecking for major projects
  • EWA BG CAPEX Control forecasting & interface with global BG finance for budget allocation and update
  • Coordination with BG leads and local finance partners for budget allocation, update and capitalization
  • Consolidate budget target & expenditure, track and drive forecast accuracy
  • Key member of efficiency & waste improvement agenda
  • Skill enhancement through training & coaching of operations teams
  • Be flexible and able to work across the different BGs, technologies and countries within EWA.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5-year experience in factory operations for Beauty & Wellbeing & Personal Care category
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing – production, maintenance, engineering, etc
  • Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of FMCGs
  • Machinery & Process safety experience
