The Project Engineer role is designed to be fully functional in the 4-Day work week trial.
Job Summary
The role will be delivering projects in areas of reliability management and technical understanding of manufacturing processes as a project engineer for our Home Care, Personal Care, and Beauty & Wellbeing Factory. This role will involve collaborating and working alongside the local and global engineering teams to deliver project outcomes.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead implementation of factory innovation and key projects.
Propose and agree to technical objectives and milestones of the project with stakeholders, planning strategically what, how and through whom to deliver.
Develop project business case and brief stakeholders.
Work following overall operation business KPIs.
Drive the standardisation of processes and the implementation of metrics and GMP practice.
Managing risk, claims, and legal compliance with local and regional requirements.
Strong MA Responsible for the North Rocks capital planning process, developing the annual capital plan, and aligning with key stakeholders across the 3 business units engagement of capex project budgets
Analyse and interpret production data to design and implement specific solutions.
Maximize project efficiency and profitability.
Determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion.
Develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation.
Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel.
Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle.
Suggest enhancements to improve the process.
Analyze supply chain bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Continually control and match operations with industry updates.
Negotiate any technical-related matters with suppliers or stakeholders.
Take vital decisions towards cost reduction and saving.
Understand the Unilever Management system tool (Unique to Unilever).
Assets care and management.
Does this sound like You?
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
4+ years of project management, project engineering, or project planning experience (scope, schedule, cost, quality)
Strong field management experience
Experience in Engineering Change Management
Strong working knowledge of design software, including AutoCAD and CAD/CAM Circuit Design
Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices
Previous experience with database design and development
Strong contract management and communication skills both verbal and written
Previous experience in working Australian standard
