Join our team at Odense Factory!
We are hiring a P&I Specialist for our factory in Odense, where we produce detergents under our strong Home Care brands such as Neutral, Biotex, and OMO. Our goal is to offer the best products in detergents to our consumers and be the best supplier to our customers. Our strong brands stand for quality, service, and innovation.
In this position you will be the owner of our fabric wash manufacturing processes in the factory. A critical part of this role will be ensuring an effective link with R&D, planning, and factory for innovation, capacity, and project delivery. In collaboration with the engineering team, you will be responsible for mapping potential sustainability projects. Together with the factory Production Lead you will ensure that the make areas are kept tidy and safe to secure a good work environment and product safety.
You will participate in pre-project studies and implementation of innovation projects, for example new recipes, raw and pack materials, and process/dosing equipment. Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest technology standards and processes are implemented and aligned to global specifications and standards.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- First point of contact for process and innovation inputs from various European teams like Marketing/R&D/Unilever laundry network.
- Owner of recipes in the process control systems and recipe/master data control and verification.
- Competent person for process safety – with the responsibility of ensuring systems and equipment regarding combustible dust, flammable liquids and other chemicals are under control and in safe condition (ATEX + HAZOP).
- First point of contact in case of mixing failures or other operational issues in make area.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Chemical Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge and experience in quality and innovation for manufacturing, including statistical analysis and process control, risk assessments for raw materials/formulations, and validation of processes.
- Good knowledge of process and technology/equipment associated with an FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) company.
Skills
- Good understanding of the materials conversion processes.
- Good knowledge about hygienic design and hygiene in manufacturing.
- Developed safety mindset.
- Fluent in Danish and English (read and write).
