Job Position:Senior Finance Executive - BTC-Cam and Overhead Cam-Laos

Job Purpose
- The overhead position plays a crucial role in overseeing and evaluating overhead cost by collaborating with the cross functions and intercompany/regional finance and customers.
- Responsibilities include managing in-year overhead cost performance, establishing strong controls, close the target gap and supporting in BG/BU reviews. It must connect with budget owners to comprehend challenges and assess monthly and quarterly performance.
- Given the constantly evolving nature of the business environment with factors like cost efficiency and operational performance, continuous updates to the strategy and financial framework are required.
- This position offers an opportunity to lead overhead management by leveraging data, analytics, and digital tools. This aims to enhance value, streamline processes, and assist the Leadership Team in identifying both risks and opportunities.
- BTC also play a key role to ensure customers pay on time and actively work with regional sale teams and customers for any risks and opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
BTC-Cam
- Maintains a complete and accurate record of all collection efforts including any corrective arrangements and places notes on the customer’s account.
- Working with sale division and related functions to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop better control on collections and follow up.
- Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
- Review, process end to end on claim and advance to employees and to ensure accurate and in-compliance claim Vs HR and finance policy.
- Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing receipts, sending weekly statement, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to share their payment plan…
- Generating reports and statements for internal use and customers.
Overhead-Cam and Laos
- Overheads Performance Management: drive strong controls and identify efficiencies.
- Built and review overhead forecast and actual by cost center, function, division.
- Lead Preparation for BG/BU (Business Group/Business unit) Reviews: Prepare comprehensive, Insightful and Actionable Analysis to Support Leadership Team Decision-Making.
- Support in Digitalization of Data and Analytics Function: Collaborate on digitizing data and analytics processes for improved efficiency.
- Payroll JV review
- Maintain/review master data, GL, Cost center and its cycle.
- Generating reports and provide data to cross functions and regional submission.
- Month End Close (MEC) process including submitting monthly Journal Entries OTIF; playing a key supporting role in the forecasting process and challenging assumptions; reviewing reporting and forecast submissions and ensuring OTIF delivery; and monitoring Overheads actuals vs. target/forecast incl. risks and opportunities.
- Project management for key improvement projects for Overheads in the following key areas: risk and performance management for overheads (incl. forecasting); and improve visibility of drivers on key cost elements.
Candidate Criteria
Experience & Qualification
- Professional finance qualification equivalent to CAT, BA with 2+ years’ experience in financial, operational and business partnering roles
- Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to respond under pressure
- Collaboration: able to interact effectively in a wide network of stakeholders
- Clarity of thinking – ability to see the big picture, whilst interested to dive into details
- Strong engagement, presentation, and communication skills
Experience in driving P&L performance improvements (e.g. closing gaps vs. target)
