What will be your responsibilities:
The ICE Financial Analyst will work closely with the IC BU FET Cost Control Manager and the Unilever Above-Market FET team to gain a detailed understanding of the newly designed Cost Control process and support the implementation of the new operating model within the standalone IC business.
- Working closely with the Unilever Above-Market FET, to deliver the month-end process and ensure the integrity of the results.
- Working closely with UL Above-Market FET to continuously improve the month-end close process and establishing an operating model that is providing the necessary service to the (standalone) business directly.
- Support to set up end-to-end processes and governance for Month-end-Closure, R2R and Overheads and B&MI Costs Control. In partnership with Unilever and 3rd party service providers, delivering competitive advantage from speed, reliability and costs perspective
- Assistance in preparing monthly reports
- Providing adhoc support and financial analysis
- Support training agenda required for the team and business stakeholders
- Key stakeholders to interface: BU Finance, EUFET, EUANZ Finance, Country Finance teams
What we expect from you:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - especially Excel
- Ability to work with large sets of data between different tools and systems
- Strength in holding others accountable, particularly peers and senior leadership
- Ability to drive process simplification and improvements
- Team spirit and very good time management
- Priority setting / agility / able to cope with deadlines (month-/quarter-end)
- English fluency
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
Experiences & Qualifications
- Finance professional with relevant experience in Cost Controlling or Reporting roles
- Previous experience in a Unilever local FET team highly preferred.
