Location of the job: Raeford, NC

Shift Assignment:

12 hr PM: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am (2/2/3 shift pattern)

Pay Rate – $28.68, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for the 12 hr PM shift assignment | Weekly pay period

The Team Lead - Warehouse will drive current and future manufacturing performance in the areas of Safety, Productivity, Cost, Quality, Delivery and Morale using WCM operating framework.  This includes managing your area of responsibility on your assigned shift. 

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

  • Utilize WCM or other problem-solving methodology/tools to determine root cause and deploy a systematic approach. 

  • Lead and motivate a team towards common goals and encourage team development. 

  • Accountable for the productivity of the area on your assigned shift. 

  • Contacting appropriate resources for issue resolution, providing alternative duties in the event of breakdown or material shortage, monitoring general performance and behavior of employees and adjusting crewing. 

  • Interfacing with facilities support, material planning, quality support, warehouse and other departments to ensure efficient operation to meet plant goals.

  • Regularly cascading/communicating site targets and goals from shift to shift and to Area Leaders.

  • Managing the operational cost of assigned area on assigned shift including controlling overtime

  • Leading the training and development of teammates on your line and shift

  • Shared responsibility for the selection, coaching and promotional opportunities of the teammates in your assigned area on your shift.

  • Responsible for continuous improvement and driving loss reduction.

  • Responsible for following GXP.  This includes but is not limited to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Labor Practice (GLP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)

  • All other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • High school diplomas or GED equivalent

  • Prefer 2 or more years’ experience in a manufacturing operation and a strong technical skill set (Technical Operator 2 or above). 

  • Previous maintenance experience or current or future enrollment in a technical education program at Sandhills Community College is required.

  • Strong computer, analytical, written and verbal communication skills
