JOB PURPOSE:
Customer strategy and planning are identified as a key capability and growth engine for the company and have been a key part of the strategic growth levers of the Ice Cream business.
The CSP plays a crucial role as the voice of the customer & shopper in the business teams on the one hand, and in leading the delivery of the business plans in sales on the other.
Externally, theCSP is the category expert for key customers in helping them grow their categories through objective advice on category strategy, promotion, shelf and assortment.
Internally, the CSP is responsible for profitable growth of the Business:
By bringing category expertise in all customer and marketing plans;
By developing and driving category growth plans and leading the promotional, price and channel strategy;
By driving efficient business processes like for instance forecasting, planning, marketing-sales alignment and IBP.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering business targets by ensuring Customer Category Growth Plans are delivered per key customer.
Translating the multi-year category strategy to the shop, taking it to the channels and customers, selling business category plans and executing them among customers.
Deliver perfect execution of Category Projects across customers, such as Restore value, Big bets, relaunches, innovations and activations.
Be the category expert for key customers by objective advice, deep dives and quarterly reviews (category and promo).
Creating great relationships with buyers & customer strategy managers in order to drive profitable value growth of the category.
Representing customer needs & category value drivers internally, ensuring alignment of Customer & Category strategy and brand plans by influencing the Marketing Team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
Master’s Degree in Trade Marketing, Marketing or equivalent.
Previous experience (7-8 years) in category.
Excellent engagement, presentation and communication skills and ability to manage a large and complex set of stakeholders.
Ability to manage and drive the category agenda (proactive and independent worker).
Ability to challenge and empower others, particularly cross-functional colleagues and senior partners.
Fluent in English.
