WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
The Facilities Maintenance Leader will design and implement a proactive maintenance management system that focuses on proactive preventive maintenance on critical plant equipment, including but not limited to air compressors, boilers, chillers, dock doors, mixing tanks, steam/condensate return system, and more. This maintenance system will strive to reduce R&M expenses while eliminating breakdowns. The right candidate will work closely with the operations and logistics team for ideal scheduling of asset maintenance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a similarly related field. Alternatively, an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance (or similar) with a minimum of three years in a maintenance leadership role. Experience leading large scale capital projects is a plus. Certifications in HVAC, boiler operation, industrial electronics, plumbing, industrial automation, or similar is preferred.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to self-motivate, manage responsibilities, and work independently, including strong multi-tasking and critical thinking skill.
Ability to work, communicate effectively.
Some experience with Facilities maintenance with journey-level performance in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and electrical, Grounds, and General Maintenance preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operating procedures, technical procedures, and government regulations.
Ability to collaborate with all levels of management in a multi-functional team environment is required.
