CLEAR is Unilever’s 3rd largest Hair brand and has experienced significant growth over the past 15 years through global expansion and a disruptive approach to the Anti-Dandruff shampoo market. The largest markets are China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil and Thailand.

CLEAR is now on an exciting journey to transform its brand and portfolio beyond Anti-Dandruff – encompassing the growing platform of Scalp and its adjacent needs. This pillar has been recognized as a big bet by the Beauty & Wellbeing leadership team and this role will be part of the team that has been chosen to spearhead its growth. We are looking for a bold, insight-driven innovator with a global mindset - able to connect data with instinct, challenge the status quo, influence across cultures, and drive ideas from spark to shelf with precision, pace, and impact.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
The successful candidate will report to Global Brand Innovation Manager, while working very closely with Global Brand Innovation Director, local markets, cross-functional teams and external agencies. The platform will be responsible for developing and managing innovations for CLEAR Women.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with the Global Brand Manger to lead the Global Portfolio Transformation & Strategy for CLEAR Core White. This entails analyzing and strategizing market and consumer data to develop robust recommendations to help guide the platform’s continued growth in the long term.
Partnering with the Global Brand Manager to lead the development of the new Expert Derma Scalp Care line—translating category and consumer insights into a clear platform strategy and innovation roadmap.
Leading innovation projects for both Core and Expert Scalp Care line, which includes mix development (proposition crafting, product & pack design, business case, network, innoflex) and project management across teams to ensure OTIF launch. This involves high interaction with upper management, cross functional team, local markets and external agencies.
Partnering closely with the Women engagement team to ensure upstream innovations development is properly synergized with downstream communications
Lead market docking for 1UL APAC

RELEVANT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven record of Global Brand Development experience. Candidates with experience in global innovations development, managing relaunches and fast tracked networks are preferred
Understands how to adapt global ideas for regional deployment without losing brand consistency
Eye for beauty in crafting and judging product design, advertising, and content, especially within the context of premium beauty & hair. Able to spot packaging inconsistencies, wording issues or off-brand executions before they hit the market
Can turn concepts and strategy into actionable plans with clear timelines and accountability
Able to collaborate and influence local market teams and cross functional teams to get alignment
Basic financial understanding with regards to developing financial growth models and business cases
DESIRED SOFT SKILLS TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE:
Strategic agility & curiosity: Naturally dig into consumer behavior, market trends and competitor moves to spot white space opportunities. Good scenario thinking abilities that can balance short term tactical wins with long term brand building innovations.
Constructive Optimism: Comfort with ambiguous situations where not all answers or data points are clear yet and maintains a positive, solutions-oriented attitude even when facing set backs.
Resilience and Adaptability: Stays calm under tight deadlines, changing priorities and global stakeholder pressure. Able to adjust plans quickly when market realities, budgets or competitive dynamics shift.
