JOB PURPOSE
The Europe/ANZ Ice Cream Business Unit contributes ca 40% to the global IC business and has the ambition to accelerate underlying sales growth whilst stepping up underlying operating profit growth and ROIC. The ambition requires a high level of value creation, transformation and process re-design, which will be part of the new company establishment journey. The IC Finance function plays a pivotal role - supporting strategic business decisions, providing relentless focus on the cash and value, while setting up a strong stewardship function in a highly volatile environment.
The Financial control & cost controller is responsible for ensuring high integrity in business processes, cost controlling, financial statements and internal controls environment. It reports to Ice cream Nordic Controller and will be supporting the Nordic Controller and Nordic CFO in the area of Establishment during 2025.With aim tocollaborativelyestablishing and enhancing the Financial Reporting and Controllership activities for the new Ice cream company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Controlling
Together with the Nordic Controlling lead, ensuring correctness of the financial statements (Balance sheet and non-core items) for Nordic Legal entities for both Group & Statutory accounts.
Ensuring high integrity in financial results and controls compliance.
Ensuring compliance in statutory/legal reports filing.
Balance sheet monitoring & reporting
Working capital/Cash reporting and forecasting
Co-ordinate all internal and external audit activities across Nordics.
Govern TMI controls framework and Rebate and Overdue management
Continuously optimize efficiency of financial processes & controls
Work effectively across Finance & business teams MCOs, Supply Chain, UniOps, Operating Centers and Third-Party Service Providers.
Cost controlling and business performance
Ensuring quality and on-time delivery of the forecast and budgeting process for Marketing and Overheads, with keeping budget holders accountable.
Clear in-month tracking of Overheads and marketing costs and gaps to FC
Supporting the value creation agenda through sharing insights and analysis to impact commercial decision making in the Marketing area.
Driving process and governance improvements aroundMarketing costs
Trade Terms Control
Leadership
Provide financial expertise and challenge and address financial risks
Support & educate the business on controls framework
SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related area.
Minimum 3 years’ experience from a similar role (Financial Accounting/Control)
Experience in areas of financial accounting, controllingand risk management
Ability to work collaboratively with various business teams, remote central teams, and external service providers.
Ability to hold people accountable
Resilient to change & strong focus on driving improvement and efficiencies
flexibility and ability to quickly understand new topics
Experience in presenting to and communicating with senior Finance and non-Finance stakeholders
Truly business partner mindset,bringing Finance at the core of the general manager decision, confidence to challenge and collaborate with the country leadership team to always aim for the best results for the business.
