Main Responsibilities

As a Deputy Performance & NRM you are responsible for monitoring and analysing performance B&W to achieve OKR as well as creating growth strategies for Unilever through portfolio optimization, pricing, active mix management, promo and trade spend excellence. You evaluate consumer promotions strategies including alignment with brand objectives, promotions responsiveness as well as ROI profile and recommend an optimal promotion strategy.  You will collaborate and act as a crucial link between the CSP, CBD, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure strategy alignment and execution.  

Key Responsibilities

As Deputy Performance & NRM you will be responsible for the following tasks: 

  • Assist performance monitoring & performance analysis and reporting key insights to B&W stakeholder including BU GM and B&W LT.

  • Collaborate with other function (Finance, Marketing, CMI) in delivering key messages of B&W performance in Monthly and Quarterly BU BG meeting

  • Act as central strategy team to unlock growth and winning business share by fully integrating NRM as a core business-as-usual (BAU), always on workstream in B&W

  • Conduct in-depth portfolio assessments to set brand objectives, identify pricing opportunity, highlight white spaces and ensure price-pack execution to support the brand and portfolio strategy. Collaborate with finance to execute business case.

  • Optimize channel-customer / pack mix to accelerate profitable growth for Unilever and customers 

  • Working with COP and Finance to evaluate consumer promotions strategies including alignment with brand objectives, promotions responsiveness as well as ROI profile. Recommend an optimal promotion strategy to execute quick wins and big bets. 

  • Work with finance and COP on reviewing customer trade terms structure and propose improvements

  • Design holistic governance model and tools to ensure that strategic actions identified are landed OTIF 

  • Collaborate with finance in developing methodologies to perform financial analyses and scenario development that will be the base for portfolio pricing simulations and white space launches 

  • Collaborate and act as a crucial link between the Marketing, CSP, and Finance teams throughout the NRM process to ensure strategy alignment and execution 

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, economics, or marketing is often required.

  • 3+ years’ experience in revenue management, consumer insight, finance, or related roles

Skill

  • Proficiency in advance excel, power BI, business process, and financial

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and make data driven decisions

  • Knowledge of pricings strategies and their impact on profitability

  • Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools is often required. Knowledge on Nielsen and Kantar tools is preferred.

  • Effective communication and the ability to present findings and recommendations to various stakeholder are important

  • Familiarity with the specific industry or market in which the company operates is valuable for tailoring NRM strategies.

  • The ability to conduct competitive analysis to inform pricing and revenue decisions.
