Main Responsibilities

  • Negotiate PC Contract Manufacturing contracts and manage the relationship with the strategic suppliers

  • Implement and develop Unilever procurement strategies/policies for transformation projects connecting with the wider Supply Chain team

  • Drive and lead the implementation of Net Productivity savings based on sourcing strategies, negotiations and supplier compliance, and manage approval flow of savings projects

  • Implement innovation projects in cross functional teams with Marketing, R&D and Supply Chain

  • Manage operations of locally purchased material portfolio

  • Handle diverse customer, supplier or operational issues as they arise.

  • Responsible for accurate input to market by reviewing the Quarterly Forecasting process with Global Procurement. Ensure collection, monitoring and managing market information to provide analysis and reflect accurate Material costs

  • Ensure Cash Delivery through Creditor Management

  • Coordinate and execute Partnerships program for local sourcing inline with Unilever sustainability agenda

  • Drive Quality and Compliance standards across CM Partners

  • Business partnering for the wider Unilever business on Contract Manufacturing Personal Care related topics and be part of the leadership teams

  • Work with Collaborative Manufacturing Operations team and support and lead improvement projects

  • Drive key Procurement Pillars and Lead/Participate in Regional and/or global Lighthouse Squad

Candidate Criteria

Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum 8 – 10 years experience in a procurement/supply chain role

  • Hold Master or Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Finance/Supply Chain Management

  • A self-starter with strong bias for Action, Accountability, Responsibility and Growth Mindset

  • Negotiation skills with business acumen

  • Critical thinking, crisis management

  • Strong communication and influencing skills in managing stakeholder, both internal and external

  • Fluent in English – spoken & written

  • Excellent Excel and Powerpoint Presentation skills – present key findings in concise way

  • Experience with pricing and cost models

  • Experience in managing cross functional teams
