Canada Trade Claims Processing
The focus of this position is to gather data to provide analytical insight and process improvements relating to claims management. The position is responsible for proactively analysing and reviewing the current deductions process, identifying opportunities, problem areas and potential solutions. This role will need to work cross-functionally with Key Account Managers (KAMs), Customer Operations (CO) and Finance teams to identify/implement efficiencies. They will be the liaison between our Partner Teams and Unilever to escalate deductions issues, conduct root cause analysis and deliver process improvements.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Oversee Partner teams to ensure timely resolution of deductions and/or cash clearings within 90 days. Offer timely decision support and financial insights to Partner Teams.
- Efficiently manage deductions process ensuring accurate recording while providing transparency to any impact on Sales, balance sheet, and/or P&L.
- Navigate differing priorities across departments impacted by or impacting deduction activity.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with CBD, Finance, and Collect teams in identifying non-compliance and root cause of issues. Conduct trend analysis to estimate financial risk and implement corrective actions.
- Lead account team calls to provide financial insights on process gaps, opportunities, and the impact of deductions on cash flow.
- Influence CBD to respond to inquiries with speed and accuracy to ensure we deliver Overdue Metrics
- Collaborate with third parties on new technical solutions, including writing Statements of Work and testing applications.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or related area preferred
- Minimum 5 years related experience; demonstrating knowledge of data, systems, process improvement and ability to analyze information to make recommendations
- Fluency in French, reading and writing, preferred
