We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse and pallet negotiations using strategic sourcing approaches, optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), building should cost models, and being fully accountable for portfolio performance. This role also involves generating real savings, mitigating inflation, and ensuring proper service levels for the customer operations teams.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Strategic Sourcing for Logistics and Warehousing:

  • Conduct negotiations using strategic sourcing methodologies to achieve optimal terms and conditions.

  • Track and manage the supplier contract database with accountability. 

  • Support the finance team in tracking savings and developing the financial plan. 

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimizelogistics and warehousing costs.

  • Analyze and optimize TCO for logistics and warehousing operations.

  • Conduct RFPs and E-auctions to drive competitive behavior and efficiency.

  • Build and maintain should cost models to support cost-saving initiatives.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities to generate real savings.

  • Develop strategies to mitigate the impact of inflation on transportation and warehousing costs.

Portfolio Performance Management:

  • Be fully accountable for the performance of the logistics and warehousing portfolio and its suppliers.

  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Ensure proper service levels for the customer operations teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve service level issues.

  • Implement and maintain governance frameworks to ensure compliance with best practices.

  • Monitor and report on governance metrics, including responsible procurement audits.

Digital Tools and Technologies:

  • Foster adoption of digital tools and technologies to enhance procurement processes.

  • Drive initiatives for sustainable and ethical sourcing.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to influence peers and stakeholders.

  • Full proficiency in English (capable of conducting negotiations and presentations).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with strategic sourcing and portfolio management.

  • Desirable experience in logistics and operations.

  • Knowledge of sourcing tools such as Kraljic Matrix, Should Cost Modeling, Benchmarking, and Productivity Management.
