JOB PURPOSE:
Quality is a key driver of competitive advantage in the Ice Cream business. The Consumer Safety, Verification, and Audit Specialist plays a crucial role in embedding a strong culture of quality within the business unit, ensuring every product delivers the best experience and delights our consumers.
In this role, you will develop and manage the audit programs, covering the end-to-end Quality Management System (E2E QMS) for product quality and food safety. You will perform regular audits, manage non-conformity reports and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will identify safety hazards, prepare detailed audit reports, and work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns. Additionally, you will share learnings, provide guidance on priorities, and analyze feedback to prioritize the audit program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the audit program, covering E2E QMS (product quality and food safety).
- Perform regular audits and assess compliance, ensuring the NC report and, if needed, the CAPA process. Follow up on actions through clear metrics & OKRs.
- Identify potential safety hazards and risks associated with the product, and work with the Quality team to evaluate their impact.
- Ensure during the audit that the factory and supplier comply with local, national, and global safety regulations and standards relevant to consumer products.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, non-conformities, and recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to address product safety and product quality concerns.
- Share the learnings from the findings with the BU/BG Quality team.
- In collaboration with QMS & Training, provide guidance on related priorities (e.g., revision of procedures or training prioritization).
- Analyze consumer/customer feedback and complaints, as well as factory/supplier self-assessment quality compliance data, to prioritize and address the audit program.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
SKILLS :
- Analytical skills: utilize data analysis tools to monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve overall product quality.
- Problem-solving abilities: Resolving quality-related issues.
- Auditing skills: a clear understanding and ability to assess and act upon product safety, quality, efficacy, and compliance risks.
- Proactive approach: Anticipating potential quality issues, implementing preventive measures, and continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS :
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards: Ensuring compliance with regulations such as HACCP, FSSC22000, and local food labeling requirements.
- Proven experience in quality management within Food companies, supplier quality management, and manufacturing process
- At least 10 years of relevant experience as a quality leader/factory.
- English: C1
- Experience in virtual teamwork.
