Reports to:  Head of EU Logistics and SC Transformation

Location: Poland

If you are in the Unilever Ice Cream business or consider choosing to work for the Unilever Ice Cream business, you will work for the Global, leading Ice Cream player with €7.9bn Turn Over in 2023. The Ice Cream business is operating in a highly attractive category, as we are part of the 1 trillion snacking and refreshment industry, growing consistently at high pace. We have strong brands equities: 5 of top 10 selling brands including Wall’s, Magnum, Ben &Jerry’s. We are investing to unlock the full growth potential of Ice Cream as a standalone entity, once we separate from Unilever, which is planned to happen by November 2025.

JOB PURPOSE:

As a Europe Logistics Excellence Manager in Logistics, your role will be central to driving improvement initiatives within the logistics and supply chain operations.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for operational improvements, implementing best practices, and leverage technology to enhance logistics visibility e2e and performance.

With a structure and cadenced project pipelines management, you will guide cross-functional teams to organize and deliver the project pipelines on time and in full.

With a proficiency in data analytics and tools, you will ensure the development and maintenance of critical tools/reporting for the Logistics operational team.

The role will have direct reports.

KEY Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure logistics activities are integrated and aligned with the broader supply chain strategy.

  • Analyze logistics data to uncover opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Implement best practices in logistics to promote operational excellence and value creation.

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of logistics systems to support business needs.

  • Leverage technology to enhance logistics visibility, tracking, and reporting. Ensure development and maintenance of operational tools/reporting.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all logistics systems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management roles.

  • Experience in team management

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements in logistics or related industries.

  • Familiarity with Lean, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Solid logistics knowledge and experience (transport and warehousing)

SKILLS    

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ability to lead teams and manage complex change initiatives.

  • Proficiency in using software tools such as Microsoft Excel, systems, and data analytics platforms.

  • Proficient in supply chain management software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.
