Unilever is currently hiring for R&D Specialist.

JOB PURPOSE

The local R&D Specialist ensures full R&D support to local activities and the successful implementation of new / re-launched products in the market. 

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

• Support product launches, innovations, and renovations for assigned categories/brands in Poland.

• Manage technical and regulatory aspects of product labeling and provide expert input.

• Approve artworks and claims, ensuring compliance with technical and legal standards.

• Provide technical support for advertising, PR, and media interactions.

• Assess product quality and risk for promotions, ensuring compliance with Unilever standards.

• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure product compliance with EU/local laws and Unilever policies.

• Prepare and approve legal packaging texts and specifications (e.g., CU PIRD, SDS, PCN).

• Act as a local regulatory expert, sharing knowledge and training relevant teams.

• Support crisis management with technical input and QA collaboration.

• Maintain technical databases (PLM, PIOTI, FIORI, VEEVA, TAP).

• Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to the European R&D team.

• Ensure all claims and technical content are consumer-relevant and legally compliant.

• Contribute to cross-functional teams and process improvements for successful launches.

• AW approval OTIF

• Claim support localization

• KBS and product support at local level

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

• Work experience in a technical, preferably R&D environment.

• University degree, preferably in a technical or scientific field.

• Experience in product development, ideally within R&D.

• Knowledge of product design, processes, and Home Care formulations.

• Strong consumer and customer insight.

• Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to translate technical data into consumer-relevant language.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  

Skills

• Strong communication, collaboration, and networking abilities.

• Fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken.
