JOB PURPOSE:

As the Regenerative Agriculture Program Manager, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of Unilever’s regenerative agriculture program. Your mission is to develop and implement a clear and impactful strategy, engaging both internal and external stakeholders to bring it to life. You’ll drive the consolidation of this strategy, build the necessary infrastructure, measure results, and continuously improve program performance.Your work will contribute directly to Unilever’s bold ambitions: implementing regenerative agriculture practices across 1 million hectares by 2030, reducing Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 30.3% from a 2021 baseline, and helping 250,000 smallholder farmers access livelihood programs by 2026.In this role, you’ll collaborate with Sustainable Sourcing Managers, procurement teams, Unilever’s local business units, and external consultants. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:
Manage Global Program Execution: Provide global oversight and support for the execution of regenerative agriculture programs across all business groups, ensuring alignment with Unilever’s goals.
Build Internal Capabilities: Lead the development of regenerative agriculture knowledge and capabilities across Unilever’s global teams, driving internal alignment and expertise.
Drive Strategic Communication: Design and implement a communication strategy that connects regenerative agriculture initiatives with brand teams and global narratives.
Strengthen External Partnerships: Support and help manage strategic global partnerships for implementation and co-financing, including engagement with financial partners and delivery organizations.
Coordinate Across Teams: Collaborate with Unilever’s global teams, agricultural portfolio leads, and procurement functions to prepare program updates and ensure strategic coherence.
Integrate with BOS Impact Areas: Connect EU regenerative agriculture efforts with broader impact areas including Climate, Human Rights, and Assurance.
Deliver on Key Projects: Support and lead portfolio-specific initiatives—such as starches, sugar, and vegetables—across the EU region, ensuring effective execution and impact delivery.
Provide Operational Support: Manage key administrative processes including Contracts, Procurement to Pay for Regenerative Agriculture and budget.

Experience & Qualifications:
University degree in business or sustainability or related studies
Project management excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Sustainability Expertise: Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, particularly in the or agricultural sector for at least 5-10 years
Strong Leadership skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams towards achieving sustainability goals.
