Job Title: Incoming Technician

Department:  Myanmar Manufacturing

Main Job Purpose:

Incoming Technician (RM, PM) is responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming raw & packaging material. Including ensuring supplier meets the Unilever’s specification, quality standard, and other requirements resulting in efficient operation and consumer satisfaction. 

This role will be reporting Site QA Lead/s. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check the documentation that comes along with the material (e.g., COA, PO No., MSDS, etc.). 
  • Conduct physical inspection of arrived material (both existing & new) for any damages, record the inspection result, and report it to the Line Manager.  
  • Ensure clear labelling & identification of every material.  
  • Ensure the Good Warehouse Practices execution according to the Unilever Standard (e.g., FIFO/FEFO, block/release/reject, pest control, personal hygiene, etc.) 
  • Ensure any non-conformity with material are properly executed: blocked/rejected, clearly labelled, segregated in dedicated area, and communicated to both Line Manager and cross functional team while waiting for disposition/investigation.  
  • Conduct investigation (resampling, tightened sampling, and lead discussion with supplier) for any non-conformity with material including following it up with the supplier to ensure the CAPA (corrective action – preventive action) are shared and closed.  
  • Participate in consumer/customer complaint investigation and action that is related to material. 
  • Participate in QBO (Quality Behaviour Observation) and other Quality initiatives/program. 
  • Professional Skills: 
  • (The minimum requirement from the JSP should be described, incl degrees/qualifications preferred.) 

ESSENTIAL 

Degree: Bachelor’s degree with science background 

Experience Required:   

ESSENTIAL: 

  • Minimum 2-3 years working experience in manufacturing, preferably working experience in quality.  
  • Ability to communicate well. 
  • Able to work well with cross functions.
