Nigeria - Early Careers

FUCAP is a student ambassador program which aims to engage 20 future leaders and take them on a leadership journey as liaisons between Unilever and their respective Universities or Polytechnics. The program will recognize the top 20 young talents around the country who have the passion to Want More, Do More, and Contribute More to become great Leaders with a positive impact.

As a Future-X Unilever Campus Ambassador (FUCA), you get an invaluable real-world exposure to lead projects such as empowerment and skills development activities on your campuses, to build relationships with seasoned industry professionals, and to expand your professional network even before you enter the world of work.

Duration - 9 months

Application Process

To become one of our FUCAs, you are required to complete the course and challenge detailed in the 2 stages below,

Stage 1: Complete the LevelUP: Lean Entrepreneurship Skills Course 

Stage 2: Complete the Unilever ‘Brand’ Challenge.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must:

• be an undergraduate student at a Nigerian university or polytechnic.
• be resourceful and intelligently curious.
• be between 16-24 years old.
• Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to excellence, personal development, and professional development.
• demonstrate an impressive record of initiative-taking and leadership.
• be a team player.

The Unilever Leadership Internship Programme offers internship opportunities to undergraduates, postgraduates, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and apprenticeship candidates across all functions for a period of 6 months/1 year.

During their internship, they work first-hand on real time projects to deliver business targets at large, while developing their professional and networking skills by engaging with leaders across the business.

Duration: 6 months/1 year

REQUIREMENTS / ELIGIBILITY

For Undergraduates and Postgraduates
• Undergraduate applicants must be enrolled at a Nigerian university.
• Post-graduate application is open to current MBA, Postgraduate students, and other post-graduate professional certifications.
• Applicants must have an introduction letter from their institutions.

For NYSC
• NYSC application is open to corps members who are posted directly to Unilever Nigeria.

For Apprenticeship
• Undergraduate or Postgraduate candidates who would like to work during the holidays but do not have Industrial Attachment requests from their institutions.
• People with previous work experience who desire a career change could enroll into this program to gain the required experience.
